1 Correction to: Climate Dynamics https://doi.org/10.1007/s00382-022-06259-4
In the original publication of the article, two sentences are not scientifically rigorous and should be removed.
The first sentence is above Eq. (6b). It is: “Eq. (6a) implies that variation of \(\mathop {Js}\limits^{ \to }\) is parallel to variation of flux \(\mathop J\limits^{ \to }\) averaged over the given period \(\Delta t\).”
The second sentence is in the 2nd paragraph of Sect. 4.2.1. It is: “Because the variation of PV flux \(\mathop J\limits^{ \to }\) over a given period is parallel to the variation of PVC (\(\mathop {Js}\limits^{ \to }\)), as stated in Sect. 2.3.3”.
The original article has been corrected.
