Zusammenfassung
Das Ziel der Behandlung der chronischen Blepharitis besteht in der Reduktion der Entzündung mittels thermischer, mechanischer Maßnahmen und immunmodulatorischen, antibiotischen sowie evtl. akariziden Medikamenten bei pathogenetisch relevantem Demodex-Befall.
Abstract
The goal of the treatment of chronic blepharitis lies in the reduction of inflammation, which can be achieved by warming, mechanical, and immunomodulatory measures as well as acaricide medication in cases with pathogenetically relevant demodicosis.

Video 1: Reinigung der Lidkante mit einem befeuchteten Watteträger. Erst werden die Lider mit einer Wärmemaske ca. 5 min erwärmt. Anschließend werden die Lidrandablagerungen mit einem feuchten Watteträger entfernt (je nach Befund nicht unbedingt erforderlich), und danach erfolgt das Ausdrücken der Meibom-Drüsen.
