Abstract.
It is proved that two convex bodies \(K_1,K_2 \subset E^d\) are homothetic simplices if and only if the d -dimensional intersections \(K_1 \cap (z + K_2)\) , z ∈ E d , belong to at most countably many homothety equivalence classes of convex bodies in E d .
