Abstract.
Lifshitz tail for 2 dimensional discrete Schrödinger operator with Anderson-type random magnetic field is proved. We first prove local energy estimates for deterministic discrete magnetic Schrödinger operators, and then follow the large deviation argument of Simon [6].
