Thickening a Thin Doublet Satisfying Two-Conjugate Imaging Condition

Abstract

This paper gives an idea to design a thick doublet lens from the thin lens specifications of 2 - conjugate imaging. The method, leading to a unique solution, can generally be applied to effect the thickening / thickness change of thin or thick lens and also to develop a multielement system.
