Abstract
Hooded male rats trained on simple discriminations between odor or brightness cues learned successively to reverse between the odor or brightness cues. They were then transferred to a successive discrimination reversal (SDR) of the other modality. The transfer data indicated that SDR training with one set of cues facilitated the learning of a subsequent discrimination in the other modality.
