Alex S. Krausz received his B.Sc. from the Technical University, Hungary (mechanical engineering), his M.Sc. from Queen’s University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada (mechanical engineering) and his PhD from the University of Toronto, (metallurgy). He is presently professor and chairman of the Dept of Mechanical Engineering, University of Ottawa, Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. His research activity is concentrated on the study of metal forming processes and thermally activated plastic flow.
