Abstract

This article describes various aspects of spray drying in the metals industries, including process characteristics, atomization techniques, and economic considerations. The section on industrial applications covers mineral processing, cemented carbide powders, iron powders, and thermal spray powders. Included are lists of custom spray-drying companies and suppliers of spray-drying systems.
