Abstract

Driven by rising fuel costs and further restrictions regarding exhaust emissions, the automotive and truck industries continue to refine and optimize engine systems. The machine element, specifically the rolling bearing, is being utilized more and more in the design of combustion engines. SKF, the leading rolling bearing manufacturer, has developed together with their customers several innovative special rolling bearings.
