New techniques for truck tyres

Abstract

The tread of conventional truck tyres is subject to continuous wear during use and the tyre looses more and more of its grip. “Michelin Durable Technologies” tyres exhibit more grip up to the wear limit than conventional tyres. Michelin Durable Technologies represent a continuous innovation. Further new technologies are to follow the ones already implemented. The technologies presented so far are improvements to the tread patterns and to the architecture of truck tyres.
