Abstract

The main influencing factor for the optimization of manufacturing companies is the company wide transparency of data and KPI’s. Not only does it measure the improvement of performance but it also contributes to the cultural change necessary. This article shows how a successful managing concept in the automotive assembly works using the example of Mercedes-Benz Cars.
