On the anomalous multiplet splitting of the triplet terms of the ND molecule

Abstract

It is shown that the anomaly of the multiplet splitting observed in theA 3 Π i state of the ND molecule can be interpreted as the perturbation of theA 3 Π i se by the1 Π state as well as by taking into account simultaneously the spin-spin interaction. The accurate value of the multiplet constantA has been determined for the levelv=0 of the stateA 3 Π i .

Показывается, что аномалию мультиплетного расщепления, наблюдаемого в состоянииA 3 Π i молекулы ND, можно интерпретировать возмущением состоянияA 3 Π i состоянием1 Π, а так же с одновременным принятием во внимание спин — спинового взаимодействия. Точное значение мультиплетной постояннойA определялось для уровняv=0 состоянияA 3 Π i .
