Samenvatting

De meeste Nederlanders zullen weinig moeite hebben met de vraag enkele medische specialismen te noemen. Wordt dezelfde vraag gesteld over specialistische beroepen van psychologen in de gezondheidszorg, dan zullen de meeste mensen het antwoord schuldig blijven. Toch kent de Wet BIG (Wet op de Beroepen in de Individuele Gezondheidszorg) naast de vele medische specialismen ook twee specialismen van het zogenaamde basisberoep gezondheidszorgpsycholoog (GZ-psycholoog).
