Summary
Recurrent cough and wheezing in young children are often symptoms of asthma. We present two children with a rare cause of recurrent cough and wheezing, postinfectious bronchiolitis obliterans. Because of the therapeutic consequences it is necessary to diagnose bronchiolitis obliterans in an early stage. Generally, this is possible by obtaining a thorough medical history and doing a physical examination.
