Samenvatting
In haar artikel over de bekoring van cue exposure voor de behandeling van bulimia nervosa, beweert Anita Jansen een nieuwe vorm van behandeling te introduceren. Zo stelt ze zich de vraag of het niet typisch is dat ‘exposure in geval van eetstoornissen zo'n vreemde eend in de bijt is en ongeschikt wordt geacht (p. 146)?’ Dit is wel een verbazende bewering aangezien deze behandelingsmethode reeds enkele jaren voorheen door Schmidt en Marks ( 1989) uitvoerig werd beschreven in hun artikel: Exposure plus prevention of bingeing (ERPB) vs Exposure plus prevention of vomiting (ERPV) in Bulimia Nervosa. A crossover study.
