Samenvatting
Inleiding: Een van de redenen voor het tekort aan donororganen voor transplantatie is het hoge aantal familieweigeringen. Onderzoek heeft uitgewezen dat de wijze waarop het donatieverzoek wordt gedaan en de kwaliteit van de zorg door artsen en verpleegkundigen van invloed is op de beslissing die nabestaanden nemen ten aanzien van het donatieverzoek.
