Abstract

Based on studies of the morphology of skeletal parts involved in enrolment of some Phacopinae byBruton &Haas (1997), the phylogeny and systematics of some early genera of the subfamily are discussed here. The bulk of the later taxa from the Middle Devonian onwards are not considered.

Kurzfassung

Ausgehend von den vonBruton &Haas (1997) durchgeführten morphologischen Studien der an der Einrollung beteiligten Skeletelemente bei den Phacopinae, wird hier die Phylogenie und Systematik einger älterer Gattungen der Subfamilie diskutiert. Die Masse der jüngeren Gattungen vom Mittel-Devon an wird nicht in diese Erörterungen einbezogen.
