The Lipolytic Analysis of the Duodenal Contents

  • Published:
The American Journal of Digestive Diseases

Summary

  1. 1.

A simple, clinical method of lipolytic analysis is described, applicable to duodenal contents, and employing the principle of serial dilutions with tributyrin as a substrate.

  2. 2.

The results of fifty intubations on normal subjects are reported to serve as a standard of reference.
