Dans une série d’articles précédents, l’auteur a obtenu un modèle d’entropie subjective selon deux méthodes différentes et indépendantes: une première approche faisant appel à la théorie générale des systèmes et la seconde ne faisant intervenir que des considérations simples sur les processus d’apprentissage et les langues naturelles. Ici l’auteur développe la seconde méthode et on la compare ensuite à la première. Après un bref rappel sur la méthode sémantique (par opposition à la méthode systémique), l’auteur définit les concepts de subjectivité algébrique, de subjectivité a prioriet de subjectivité a posteriori,d’information subjective et d’incertitude subjective. Il détermine la notion d’entropie subjective de produits d’expériences, d’où d’ecoulent l’estimation de la quantité d’information et la quantité d’incertitude mises en jeu dans les processus de communication avec subjectivité. On donne l’équation de bilan informationnel et quelques exemples d’application. Ensuite ce modèle sémantique est comparé au modèle systémique. Finalement on examine les relations du modèle avec la théorie des possibilitésenvisagée par Zadeh.

Abstract

In a few preceding papers, the author obtained a new model for subjective entropies by two different and independent ways: a first approach in the framework of general systems, and a second one which refers to simple and direct considerations related to learning and natural languages. The purpose herein is to expand the second approach and then to compare it with the first one. After a brief background on the semantic model (in contrast to the systemic one), the author defines the new concepts for algebraic subjectivity, prior subjectivity, posterior subjectivity, subjective information and subjective uncertainty. The subjective entropy for simultaneous experiments is obtained, therefore a modelling for the amount of information and the amount of uncertainty which are involved by communication processes in the presence of subjectivity. An information balance condition is stated. A few illustrative examples are outlined, then the semantic model is compared with the semantic one, and finally the relation of this relativistic approach with the possibility theoryas initiated by Zadeh is outlined.
