Selection for two correlated traits by independent culling levels

  • Published:
Journal of Genetics Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

The phenotypic and genetic effects of selection for two correlated traits at two independent culling levels are derived. A graphical method, accompanied by four charts, is given by which the selection differentials of the traits as well as the optimum combination of culling levels can be determined for any proportion of animals retained.
