A review of independent and linked segregation in the Norway rat

  • Published:
Journal of Genetics Aims and scope Submit manuscript

Summary

The published data on possible genetic linkage are reviewed and statistically combined to provide estimates of (a) the closest linkage compatible with the apparent random assortment or (b) the recombination fraction where random assortment is contradicted. Various aspects of linkage detection and linkage analysis are discussed.
