Abstract
Several α,β-unsaturated γ-lactones were evaluated for their JHA activity. Some of the compounds were quite active in the mustard aphid,Lipaphiserysimi (Kaltenbach), resulting in the production of supernumerary instar nymphs, nymphal-adult intermediates and adultoids.
