Abstract
PORTABILITY is the ability of a single program to run on multiple platforms without having to change it. PLUS is an authoring system designed for cross-platform courseware development for Macintosh computers and IBM PC and compatible computers running Microsoft’s Windows. PLUS’s portability was tested, and the results are reported in this article. The viability of the procedures used to do these tests also is discussed.
