The evaluation of the equilibria of displacement reactions involving slags

Abstract

New relations for the evaluation of displacement reactions in ternary slags,e.g. FeO−CoO−SiO2, CaO−CaS−Al2O3, and CaO−CaS−SiO2 are derived. In addition, equations for the quarternary system CaO−CaS−MnO−MnS−SiO2 and analogous systems are derived.
