A phytochemical survey of Malaya Part III. alkaloids and saponins

Abstract

A further 542 species of plants, betonging to 295 genera from 89 families, have been screened for the presence of alkaloids and saponins. 101 Species (19%) afforded positive alkaloid tests and 77 species (14%) positive saponin tests.
