Kemmer-fermi-yang theory of nucleon-nucleon scattering

Summary

The nucleon-nucleon scattering is analysed by the Kemmer-Fermi-Yang (KFY) theory. The singularities and the extraordinary terms in the KFY equation are investigated. And the necessity of the contribution of the isospinI=1 scalar-meson exchange, as well as that ofI = 0 scalar meson, is suggested. The phase shifts of the energyE lab = (0/500) MeV, the scattering length and the effective range of the proton-neutron scattering are also calculated.

Si analizza lo scattering nucleone-nucleone mediante la teoria di Kemmer-Fermi-Yang (KFY). Si studiano le singolarità e i termini straordinari nell’equazione di KFY. Si suggerisce inoltre la necessità del contribute dello scambio del mesone scalare con isospinI=1, cosí come quello del mesone scalare conI = 0. Si calcolano an che gli spostamenti di fase di energiaE lab = (0/500) MeV, la lunghezza di scattering e l’intervallo efficace dello scattering protone-neutrone.
