A set of integral equations for pion-pion scattering valid at all energies

Summary

We derive a set of coupled integral equations for pion-pion scattering by using fixed-t-dispersion relations combined with a suitable fixed-s analytic continuation. They represent a possible way to extend the validity of Roy-type equations to all energies. The expected low-energy properties of the amplitude are also properly taken into account.

Si deriva un gruppo di equazioni integrali accoppiate per lo scattering pione-pione per mezzo di relazioni di dispersione cont fisso associate con l’adatta continuazione analitica as fisso. Esse rappresentano un modo possibile per estendere la validità delle equazioni del tipo di Roy a tutte le energie. Si prendono anche opportunamente in considerazione le previste proprietà a bassa energia dell’ampiezza.

Мы выводим систему связанных интегральных уравнений для пионпионного рассеяния, используя дисперсионные соотношения при фиксированномt и соответствующее аналитическое продолжение при фиксированномs. Предложенная система уравнений представляет способ расширения области применимости уравнений типа уравнений Роя на любые энергии. Свойства амплитуд при низких энергиях учитываются надлежащим образом.
