Summary
Recent results of amyloid research suggested we study experimental murine amyloidosis by transferring viable spleen cells to untreated recipients. As donors were used casein treated as well as normal mice. We could show that isogenetic recipients developed amyloidosis, irrespective of its origin, i.e., whether the intraperitoneal injected spleen cells were derived from normal or sensitized animals.
