Abstract
An alkaloid was isolated from the roots ofGlycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch. It was identified as 3-methy-6,7,8-trihydro-pyrrolo[1,2-a]pyrimidin-2-one(I) by spectral analysis. The compound is first found in the plant kingdom.
