Abstract
Asymptotic expressions for the fields scattered by an isotropic impedance wedge at skew incidence are derived in the frame of the uniform geometrical theory of diffraction (UTD). They are obtained by approximately solving the difference equations generated from impedance boundary conditions (IBCs) in Maliuzhinets’ approach. The method overcomes the discontinuity of the nonuniform evaluation given in the literature referred and can give out satisfactory numerical results.
