Summary
This paper reports the present status of hadron identification detectors in B-physics experiments being planned to studyCP violation in the next several years. Hadron identification is reviewed for experiments BABAR, BELLE, HERA-B, CLEO-III and CDF. Selected R&D results from CLEO and BELLE are also presented. The field of hadron identification detector development is very active and interestingly, the various experiments have chosen different directions to pursue.
