Effective neutron activation cross-sections of some chlorine and sulphur reactions in NRX

  • Published:
Il Nuovo Cimento (1955-1965)

Summary

Reaction rates have been measured in the lattice and reflector of NRX for those neutron activation reactions of chlorine and sulphur that lead to the production of38Cl,32P and35S. The effective cross-sections of these reactions for reactor neutrons have been calculated from cobalt monitors enclosed with the irradiated samples.
