On the geometric lattice approximation to a realistic model of QCD

  • Published:
Lettere al Nuovo Cimento (1971-1985)

Summary

We suggest a model of QCD with four flavour degress of freedom on the lattice. This model has a well-defined continuum limit and no spurious quark degrees of freedom. The formulation is realistic in so far as the different quarks may have different bare masses. For Monte Carlo calculations on finite lattices our suggestion should be superior to comparable other models. The model is formulated within the Dirac-Kähler description of fermions which we repeat in a short glossary.
