Antiplane elastoplastic problem for a body containing a prismatic inclusion of regular shape

  • Published:
Materials Science Aims and scope

Abstract

We solve the problem of elastically strained state and plasticity zones formed under the action of longitudinal (axial) forces applied to a rigidn-gonal prism placed in an elastoplastic medium. The shape and characteristics of the plasticity zones are determined as functions of the applied load.
