Supersymmetry and compositeness at linear colliders

Summary

We discuss the search for supersymmetric partners of leptons, quarks and gauge bosons as well as for compositeness effects in the leptonic and bosonic sectors of the reactions e+e→W+W, ZZ, γZ, γγ at future e+e linear colliders in the TeV range. Electron beam longitudinal polarization effects are included. Limits of observability on masses of supersymmetric partners and on compositeness scales are given.

Si discute la ricerca di partner supersimmetrici di leptoni, quark e bosoni di gauge nonché di effetti di «compositeness» nei settori leptonici e bosonici delle reazioni e+e→W+W, ZZ, γZ, γγ a futuri collider lineari e+e nella gamma di TeV. Sono inclusi effetti di polarizzazione longitudinale di fasci di elettroni. Si danno limiti di osservabilità alle masse dei partner supersimmetrici e alle scale di «compositeness».

Мы обсуждаем поиски суперсимметричных партнеров лептонов, кварков и калибровочных бозонов, а также эффекты составимости частиц в лептонных и бозонных секторах реакций e+e→W+W, ZZ, γZ, γγ на будующих e+e линейных коллайдерах в ТэВ-ной области энергий. Рассматриваются эффекты продольной поляризации электронных пучков. Приводятся пределы наблюдаемости по массам суперсимметричных партнеров и по масштабам составимости частиц.
