On the off-shell continuation of the physical transition operators

Summary

A generalized Gell-Mann-Goldberger formula for many-body symmetric transition operators is derived for arbitrary splittings of the channel external interactions. This exact formula is compared with previous results obtained for asymmetric transition operators. From our Gell-Mann-Goldberger formula we derive uncoupled integral equations with connected kernel for three-body symmetric transition operators. We compare these equations with similar equations obtained for transition operators having a different off-shell behaviour.

Si deriva una formula generalizzata del tipo di Gell-Mann-Goldberger per operatori di transizione simmetrici a molti corpi in corrispondenza a partizioni arbitrarie delle interazioni esterne di canale. Si confronta questa formula esatta con risultati precedentemente ottenuti per operatori di transizione asimmetrici. Dalla formula generalizzata di Gell-Mann-Goldberger si derivano delle equazioni integrali disaccoppiate a kernel connesso per gli operatori di transizione simmetrici a tre corpi. Si confrontano queste equazioni con equazioni simili ottenute per operatori di transizione caratterizzati da un diverso comportamento per valori non fisici dell'energia.

Выводится обобщенная формула Гелл-Манна-Голдбергера для многочастичных симметричных операторов переходов для произвольного расщепления внешних взаимодействий между каналами. Эта точная формула сравнивается с предыдущими результатами, полученными для асимметричных операторов переходов. Из нашей формулы Гелл-Манна-Голдбергера мы выводим не связанные интегральные уравнения со связанным ядром для трехчастичных симметричных операторов переходов. Мы сравниваем эти уравнения с аналогичными уравнениями, полученными для операторов переходов, имеющих другое поведение вне массовой поверхности.
