Corrections dues à l’absorption dans la réaction pp→ ΛΛ

Summary

The pp→ ΛΛ reaction is studied under the assumption that it mainly proceeds through K* exchange. Such a picture is however incorrect to describe production in the low partial waves, for which almost pure absorption is expected. It is then corrected, in order to take care of the competing channels. Our results compare very well with present experimental data.

Si studia la reazione pp →ΛΛ supponendo che essa avvenga principalmente per scambio di un K*. Un tale schema non è perciò adatto a descrivere la produzione nella basse onde parziali, per le quali ci si aspetta un assorbimento quasi totale. Esso viene poi corretto in modo da tener conto delle altre vie aperte. I risultati si accordano molto bene con i fatti sperimentali attuali.
