Summary

The interaction energy for a configuration of three equivalent particles can be described as a linear combination of the allowed terms in the two-particle configuration. The interaction energy for three particles is calculated in (j j) coupling without the use of coefficients of fractional parentage. It is shown how to construct a set of mutually orthogonal wave functions when there is more than one state with the sameJ value.

L’energia di interazione per una configurazione di tre particelle equivalenti puÒ essere descritta come una combinazione lineare dei termini permessi nell’interazione di due partioelle. Si calcola l’energia di interazione per tre particelle nell’accoppiamento (jj) senza far uso dei coeffioienti di derivazione frazionale. Si mostra come si puÒ costruire un gruppo di funzioni d’onda ortogonali fra loro quando ci sia più di uno stato avente lo stesso valore diJ.
