Summary
The characteristic depression of Coulomb displacement energies in deformed rare-earth nuclei and systematics are discussed. Evidence for a linear dependence of Coulomb energy shifts onA for a group of deformed isobaric doublets, such as Sm-Eu and Gd-Tb is pointed out.
