Grapho-analytic methods for the parametric estimation of the characteristics of bending-torsion flutter of airfoils

Abstract

We study the possibility of estimation of the critical velocity and frequency of bending-torsion flutter of an airfoil by using grapho-analytic methods and obtain approximate analytic relationships for the parameters of the airfoil and air flow, which enable us to represent these parameters in a graphic form convenient for subsequent analysis.
