Abstract

The effect of the composition of temporary technological binders (TTB) based on polyelectrolytes on the properties of plastic mixtures and air-dried semiproducts is considered. The TTB are rigid-chain polyacrylic acid and flexible-chain polybutylmethacrylate, nonionogenic methylcellulose, and polyvinyl alcohol, including those modified by aqueous dispersions (latexes). The parameters of the extent of the boundary layer and the coefficient of its compression are shown to be effective criteria for choosing TTB
