Shape of beta spectra of once-forbidden transitions in the decays of¹⁷⁰Tm,¹⁸⁶Re and¹⁸⁸Re

Summary

The spectra of the 1⁻→2⁺ Β-groups in the decays of¹⁷⁰Tm,¹⁸⁶Ee and¹⁸⁸Ke have been investigated using the Β-electron coincidence technique. It was found that these Β-groups have long comparative half-lives and allowed shapes. On the assumption that the ζ-approximation in the Β-γ directional correlation should be valid when the Β-spectrum has an allowed shape, it is, proved that the 884 and 937 keV Β-groups in the decays of¹⁷⁰Tm and¹⁸⁶Re, respectively, are first forbidden transitions but have allowed shape.

Faoendo uso della tecnica di coineidenza degli elettroni Β, si sono studiati gli spettri dei gruppi Β l⁻→2⁺ nel deoadimento del¹⁷⁰Tm,¹⁸⁶Re e¹⁸⁸Re. Si è trovato che questi gruppi Β hanno vite medie relativamente lunghe e forme permesse. Nell’ipotesi olie l’approssimazione ζ nella correlazione direzionale Β-γ debba essere valida quando lo spettro Β ha una forma permessa, si dimostra clie i gruppi Β di 884 e 937 keV nei deoadimeuti del¹⁷⁰Tm e¹⁸⁶Ee, rispettivamente, sono transizioni prime proibite ma hanno una forma permessa.
