Summary
A new method for the approximate calculation of low-energy resonance phenomena is proposed. It is based on replacing the partial-wave amplitudes by linear combinations of fixed-angle amplitudes which can be chosen to approximate them arbitrarily closely in the low-energy physical region. TheN/D integral equations are algebraic and always soluble. Simple solutions for thep-wave π-π problem are given.
