Summary

The invariance under Lorentz transformations of Maxwell-Lorentz’ equations for a system of particles with both electric and magnetic charges is studied. For space reflection and time reversal the possibility of symmetry is examined when the charges are restricted by Dirac’s quantization condition. The symmetries are shown to require that the electric charge of any monopole-carrying particle be an integer or half-integer multiple of the elementary electric charge.

Si studia l’invarianza, rispetto alle trasformazioni di Lorentz, delle equazioni di Maxwell-Lorentz per un sistema di particelle con carica magnetica ed elettrica. Per le riflessioni nello spazio e l’inversione del tempo si esamina la possibilità che esista una simmetria quando le cariche sono vincolate dalla condizione di quantizzazione di Dirac. Si dimostra che le simmetrie richiedono che la carica elettrica di ogni particella che porta un monopolo sia un multiplo intero o semintero della carica elettrica elementare.

Исследуется инвариантность относительно преобраэований Лорентца уравнений Максвелла-Лорентца для системы частиц с злектрическими и с магнитными эарядами. Иэучается воэможность симметрии для пространственного отражения и обрашения времени в том случае, когда эаряды ограничены условием квантования Дирака. Покаэывается, что зти симметрии требуют, чтобы злектрический эаряд любой частицы, несушей монополь, равнялся бы целому или полуцелому эначению, умноженному на злементарный злектрический эаряд.
