Summary

The exchange hole and the exchange potential in a strongly inhomogeneous, quasi-one-dimensional electron gas are evaluated and contrasted with the results of a local-density approximation.

La buca e il potenziale di scambio sono calcolati per un gas di elettroni quasi unidimensionale in condizioni di forte inomogeneità, ed i risultati sono confrontati con l'approssimazione di densità locale.

Исследуется обмен дырками и обменный потенциал в сильно неоднородном, квази-одномерном электронном газе. Полученные результаты противоположны результатам приближения с использованием локальной плотности.
