Gauge models without charmed hadrons

Summary

We investigate the possibilities for constructing unified gauge models of the weak and electromagnetic interactions without charmed hadrons. Methods for suppressing both direct and induced strangeness-changing neutral currents are suggested and we consider their experimental consequences.

Si esaminano le possibilità di costruire modelli unificati di gauge delle interazioni deboli ed elettromagnetiche senza adroni «incantati». Si suggeriscono metodi per sopprimere le correnti neutre che cambiano la stranezza sia dirette che indotte e se ne considerano le conseguenze sperimentali.

Мы исследуем воэможность конструирования унифицированных калибровочных моделей слабых и злектромагнитных вэаимодействий беэ « щарм »-адронов. Предлагаются методы для подавления и прямых и непрямых нейтральных токов, иэменяюших странность. Рассматриваются зкспериментальные следствия зтих моделей.
