The decay of147Eu and148Eu

Summary

The spectrum of the γ-rays emitted in the decay of147Eu and148Eu has been investigated with a scintillation spectrometer. Using the single crystal summing and the coincidence techniques, the positions and the modes of de-excitation of the levels in147Sm and148Sm have been established. Decay schemes for147Eu and148Eu have been proposed.

Con uno spettrometro a scintillazione si è analizzato lo spettro dei raggi γ emessi nel decadimento del147Eu e del148Eu. Con le tecniche della sommazione in cristallo singolo e di coincidenza, si sono determinati le posizioni ed i modi di diseccitazione dei livelli nel147Sm e nel148Sm. Si sono proposti schemi di decadimento per il147Eu ed il148Eu.
