A study of the24Mg(3He, n)26Si and28Si(3He, n)30S stripping reactions

Summary

The24Mg(3He, n)26Si and28Si(3He, n)30S two-nucleon stripping reactions were studied at incident energies ofE 3 He=4.7 and 5.5 MeV, using the pulsed-beam time-of-flight technique. The angular distributions were obtained in an angular range from θ L =0° to θ L =150° (in the laboratory system) for the neutrons from the ground state (J π=0+), the first excited state (J π=2+,E x =1.79 MeV) and the second excited state (J π=2+,E x =2.78 MeV) of26Si; and for the neutrons from the ground state (J π=0+) and the first excited state (J π=2+,E x =2.21 MeV) of30S. A description of the results is presented in terms of the distorted-wave Born approximation and compound nucleus formalism and relative spectroscopic factors are deduced for the various levels concerned with the measurements.

Si sono studiate le reazioni di trasferimento di due nucleoni24Mg(3He, n)26Si e28Si(3He, n)30S alle energie dell’3He di 4.7 e 5.5 MeV usando la tecnica dei tempi di volo e del fascio pulsato per la deduzione dei dati sperimentali. Si sono ottenute le distribuzioni angolari per i neutroni nell’intervallo compreso fra θ=0° e θ=150° (nel sistema del laboratorio) per: lo stato fondamentale (J π=0+), il primo stato eccitato (J π=2+ E x =1.79 MeV) ed il secondo stato eccitato (J π=2+,E x =2.78 MeV) del26Si; e per lo stato fondamentale (J π=0+) ed il primo stato eccitato (J π=2+,E x =2.21 MeV) del30S. Le sezioni d’urto differenziali sono state analizzate in termini dell’approssimazione di Born alle onde distorte e della teoria statistica del nucleo composto, ricavando, per i livelli osservati, i fattori spettroscopici relativi.

Исследуются реакции двух-нуклонного стриппинга24Mg(3He, n)26Si и28Mg(3He, n)30Si при начальных знергияхE3He=4.7 и 5.5 MзB, испольэуя технику времени пролета импульсного пучка. Получаются угловые распределения в области углов от θ L =0° до θ L =150° (в лабораторной системе) для нейтронов в основном состоянииJ π=0+, первом воэбужденном состоянии (J π=2+,E x =1.79 MзB) и втором воэбужденном состоянии (J π=2+,E x =2.78 MзB) для26Si; и для нейтронов в основном состоянииJ π=0+ и первом воэбужденном состоянии (J π=2+,E x = =2.21 MзB) для30S. Предлагается описание полученных реэультатов в терминах искаженной волны борновского приближения и формалиэма составного ядра. Выводятся относительные спектроскопические факторы для раэличных уровней, участвуюших в иэмерениях.
