An estimate of theC-even background for φ-factories

Summary

The rate of the process φ→K0 \(\bar K^0 \) C-even background for the main decay channel φ→K0 \(\bar K^0 \) of the φ-factories currently under the project has been calculated within the framework of an effective model with massive constituent quarks. The result has the following form:r= Λ(φ→K0 \(\bar K^0 \))/Λ(φ→K0 \(\bar K^0 \))=(4÷8)·10−6 and can be essential for precise measurements ofCP violation parameters in KL−KS system.
