Summary
An experimental study of the average squared transverse displacement of protons with an energy of 150 MeV in thick layers of plexiglass has been performed. The theoretical value\(\overline {r_ \bot ^2 } \) derived by the quantum-mechanical multiple-scattering theory with account of energy loss is in good agreement with the experimental data. A comparative analysis of the experimental data obtained with the results of other authors is performed.

Si è effettuato uno studio sperimentale dello spostamento medio quadratico trasversale dei protoni con un’energia di 150 MeV in grossi strati di plexiglass. Il valore teorico di\(\overline {r_ \bot ^2 } \) dedotto dalla teoria meccanico-quantistica dello scattering multiplo prendendo in considerazione la perdita di energia è in buon accordo con i dati sperimentali. Si è eseguita l’analisi comparativa dei dati sperimentali ottenuti con i risultati di altri autori.

Проведено зкспериментальное исследование среднеквадратичного поперечного смешения протонов с знергией 150 МзВ в толстых слоях плексигласа. Теоретическое эначение\(\overline {r_ \bot ^2 } \), полученное в рамках квантовомеханичес кой теории многократного рассеяния с учетом знергетических потерь, удовлетворительно согласуется с зкспериментальными данными. Проводится сравнительный аналиэ полученных зкспериментальных данных с реэультатами других авторов.
